Terms of service
Version 1, published 25/10/2026.
Terms of service
These terms are the agreement between you and us for the Ad Intel website and service. Please read them. By creating an account, or by using Ad Intel, you accept them.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
Ad Intel is a trading name of Cyber Investments Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17510180) whose office is at 6 Hill Rise, Seaford, East Sussex, BN25 2UA, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). You can reach us through the contact form.
"You" means the business or person who opens the account. If you open it for a business, you confirm you have the authority to bind that business to these terms.
Ad Intel is built for businesses and the agencies that serve them. These terms include, and should be read with:
- our acceptable use policy;
- our privacy notice, which explains how we use personal data;
- our data processing agreement, which covers the advertising and business data you put into Ad Intel;
- our refund policy and cookie policy;
- the automation addendum, but only if and when you accept it to switch on Automatic mode; and
- the referral programme terms, but only if you join the referral programme.
If there is a conflict, the data processing agreement wins on personal data, the automation addendum wins on automatic changes, and otherwise these terms win.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or over, and give us accurate details.
- Keep your sign-in details secret. We strongly recommend two-step sign-in, and you can require it for your team.
- You are responsible for what happens in your account, including what the people you invite do. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into it.
- Agencies who add client workspaces are responsible for having the right to do so.
3. The service
Ad Intel brings your advertising data together, checks it, explains what changed and suggests what to do. We may improve, change or remove features. If we remove a feature you pay for, we will give you reasonable notice and, where it matters, a fair remedy.
Some features, such as direct connections to certain ad platforms, are being rolled out and may not be available for every platform or account yet. The plan you choose sets limits, such as the number of users, workspaces, ad accounts and AI credits; they are shown on our website and in your billing page.
We aim to keep Ad Intel available and use reasonable care and skill in providing it, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We sometimes need to carry out maintenance, and ad platforms and other providers can change or stop working without notice.
4. Free trial, plans and payment
- Free trial. New accounts can try Ad Intel free. We do not ask for a card to start, and we do not charge you unless you choose a paid plan.
- Paid plans. Paid plans are charged in advance, monthly or annually as you choose, through our payment provider Stripe. A plan renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- Prices. Prices are shown in pounds sterling. If VAT applies to you, it will be shown before you pay. We may change prices; we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email, and the change applies from your next renewal. If you do not want the new price, you can cancel before it takes effect.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails we will tell you and try again. If it still fails after the grace period shown in your billing page, we may limit or suspend your account until it is paid.
- Upgrades and downgrades. You can change plan at any time. Changes take effect as shown in your billing page.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in your billing settings. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Refunds. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
5. Your data
- You own it. The advertising, website and sales data you upload or connect remains yours. You give us permission to use it only to provide Ad Intel to you, as set out in these terms and the data processing agreement.
- Personal data. For the advertising and business data you put into Ad Intel, you are the controller and we are your processor. Please do not upload personal data about your own customers; where it appears in a file, our imports are built to leave it out or to turn it into a hashed value. You must have the right to put your data into Ad Intel and to connect the accounts you connect.
- Our use. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or show it to other customers. We may use anonymised, combined usage figures (which do not identify you or your customers) to run and improve the service.
- Getting it back. You can export your data and you can close your account. After closure we delete or anonymise your data as described in our privacy notice.
- AI. We do not use your data to train AI models.
6. Connected ad platforms
When you connect an account such as Meta or Google, you authorise us to read your data from that platform and, only where you approve changes or switch on Automatic mode, to make changes on your behalf. You stay bound by that platform's own terms and policies, and the platform, not Ad Intel, controls its own service. You can disconnect at any time. Platforms may change what they allow, and we will not be responsible if a platform limits or removes access.
7. AI and recommendations
Parts of Ad Intel use AI to write summaries, answer questions and draft wording. We check what the AI writes against your figures and remove statements that your data does not support, but AI can still be wrong or incomplete. Recommendations are suggestions based on the data we have. They are not advice, they are not guaranteed to improve your results, and you decide what to do with them.
8. Ad spend, approvals and automatic changes
- You stay in charge of your advertising. You are responsible for your campaigns, your budgets, your ad content and the money you spend with any ad platform. That money is paid to the platform, not to us.
- Approvals. By default, Ad Intel suggests and you approve. When you approve a change, you authorise us to make it in the connected ad account.
- Automatic mode. Automatic changes are off unless a person with the right permission accepts the automation addendum and sets the limits. You are then responsible for the limits you set and for changes made within them. Every change is recorded and, where the platform allows, can be undone.
- No guarantee of results. We cannot promise any particular result, and we are not responsible for ad spend, lost sales or any platform decision about your ads or account.
- Ad rules. You are responsible for making sure your ads follow the law, the UK advertising codes and each platform's policies. Ad Intel's compliance checks are a helpful second pair of eyes, not approval of an advert.
9. Acceptable use
You must follow our acceptable use policy.
10. Our rights and yours
- Ad Intel, including its software, design, text and the way it presents your results, belongs to us or our licensors. You get a right to use it for your own business while your account is active, and no more. You may not copy it, resell it, or reverse-engineer it, except as the law allows.
- Content you create or upload remains yours. You give us permission to host and process it for the purpose of providing the service.
- You confirm that anything you upload, including images, video and text, is yours or that you have permission to use it.
- If you give us ideas or feedback, we may use them without paying you.
- Text and images that Ad Intel's AI generates for you may be used in your business. We do not promise that they are unique or free of similarity to other material, so please check them before you publish.
11. Keeping things confidential
Each of us will keep the other's non-public business information confidential, use it only for the purposes of these terms, and not share it except with people who need to know it, or where the law requires.
12. Suspending and ending the agreement
- You can stop using Ad Intel and cancel at any time.
- We can suspend or end your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms or the acceptable use policy, if you do not pay, if we reasonably think your account is being used unlawfully or puts others at risk, or if the law requires. Where we can, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put things right. We can end your account without notice only for serious or unlawful use.
- We can stop offering Ad Intel entirely by giving you at least 90 days' notice, and we will refund any fees you paid for the period after it stops.
- When an account ends you lose access. You should export what you need before you close the account. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as those on liability, confidentiality and the law that applies, continue after the agreement ends.
13. Our responsibility to you
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
- We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, sales, goodwill, data or anticipated savings, or for indirect or consequential loss, or for any ad spend, platform charges or platform decisions.
- Subject to the points above, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with the service in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose (or £100 if you have not paid us anything).
- We are not responsible for failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including outages of ad platforms, hosting or internet providers.
- If you use Ad Intel as a consumer, your legal rights are not affected by anything in these terms.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when we add features or the law changes. For a material change we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email or in the service, and you may be asked to accept the new version the next time you sign in. If you do not agree, you can cancel before it takes effect. Using Ad Intel after the change takes effect means you accept it.
15. General
- The whole agreement. These terms, with the documents listed above, are the whole agreement between us about Ad Intel and replace anything said or written before.
- Notices. We may give you notice by email to the address on your account or within the service. You may give us notice through the contact form.
- Transfer. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent. We may transfer ours to a company that takes over Ad Intel, if your rights stay the same.
- If part is unenforceable. If a part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- Not giving up rights. If we do not enforce a right straight away, that does not mean we have given it up.
- Other people. Nobody else has a right to enforce these terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
- Law. These terms, and any dispute about them, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also bring a claim in your local courts.
