Your data rights
Ask about the data we hold on you.
Under UK data protection law you can ask us what personal data we hold about you and what we do with it. You can also ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict it or stop using it. You do not need to be a customer.
What you can ask for
- Access: a copy of your personal data and details of how we use it.
- Rectification: correct anything that is wrong or incomplete.
- Erasure: delete your data, where we have no good reason to keep it.
- Restriction: pause our use of your data while a problem is sorted out.
- Portability: a copy of data you gave us, in a form you can reuse.
- Objection: ask us to stop using your data for a particular purpose.
What happens next
- We email you a link to confirm the address is yours.
- We reply within one month. If your request is complex we may need up to two more months, and we will tell you why.
- We may ask for something to prove who you are, so we never hand your data to someone else.
- There is no charge, unless a request is clearly unfounded or excessive.
If you are not happy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. How we use personal data is explained in our privacy policy. You can also write to us at info@adintel.co.uk.
