Acceptable use policy

This policy sets out what you may and may not do with Ad Intel. It forms part of our terms of service. It applies to you and to everyone you give access to your account.

What we expect

Use Ad Intel to understand and improve your own advertising, or the advertising of clients you are authorised to manage, honestly and lawfully.

You must not

Break the law or platform rules

  • use Ad Intel for anything unlawful, or to help someone else do something unlawful;
  • use it to create, check or manage adverts that are misleading, discriminatory, harmful, or that break the UK advertising codes (CAP and BCAP), consumer law or the policies of the platform they run on;
  • use the automation, limits or approvals to avoid or work around the rules of an ad platform.

Misuse the AI

  • use the AI to produce fake reviews, false testimonials, deceptive claims, or content that impersonates a person or organisation;
  • try to make the AI reveal its instructions, bypass its safeguards or produce harmful content;
  • submit personal data about your own customers or other individuals in prompts, files or notes.

Misuse accounts and access

  • connect an ad account, website or analytics property that you do not own or have permission to manage;
  • ask Ad Intel to scan, crawl or test a website that you do not own or manage;
  • share your sign-in details, or let someone use an account that is not theirs;
  • try to get into other customers' data or any part of the service you are not meant to reach.

Attack or overload the service

  • probe, scan or test the security of Ad Intel without our written permission, or interfere with how it works;
  • upload viruses, malware or any file intended to harm a system (uploaded files are scanned, and anything flagged is refused);
  • send automated or bulk requests that go beyond normal use of the service or its API, or bypass rate limits;
  • use bots or scrapers on the service.

Misuse our content and data

  • copy, resell, sub-license or build a competing product from Ad Intel, or from data, benchmarks or output you take from it;
  • reverse-engineer or try to extract source code, except as the law allows;
  • upload anything you do not have the right to use, or that infringes someone's copyright or other rights;
  • remove or hide our branding, or other notices, from the service (except where your plan includes white-label reports).

Advertising we do not support

Ad Intel is not built for, and you may not use it to manage, advertising for:

  • gambling and betting, unless we have agreed it in writing;
  • political parties, campaigns, elections or referendums;
  • prescription-only medicines directed at the public;
  • illegal goods or services, weapons, or adult sexual content;
  • financial products or services, unless the promotion is made or approved by a person authorised to do so under UK financial promotion rules; we do not approve promotions and our checks are not approval.

If you work in a regulated sector, you remain responsible for making sure your advertising meets its rules.

Keeping the service fair for everyone

We may apply limits on usage, such as numbers of users, accounts, AI credits and requests, so that Ad Intel stays reliable. Using the service in a way that causes a problem for other customers may result in us limiting your use.

If you break this policy

Depending on how serious it is, we may ask you to stop, remove content, limit features, suspend your account or end it, as set out in our terms. We may report unlawful activity to the authorities and cooperate with any lawful investigation.

Telling us about a problem

If you think someone is misusing Ad Intel, or you find a security problem, please tell us through the contact form. For a security problem, please give us a reasonable chance to fix it before you tell anyone else, and do not access or change data that is not yours.
