Referral programme terms

Version 1, published 14/10/2026.

Referral programme terms

These terms apply between Cyber Investments Ltd, trading as Ad Intel ("we", "us"), and the person who joins our referral programme ("you"). By ticking the box when you join, you agree to them.

1. What the programme is

You share your personal referral link. When a business signs up to Ad Intel through that link and then pays for a subscription, we pay you a commission. Joining is free. We may refuse or end anyone's membership at our discretion.

2. Your referral link

  • Your link is shown on your referral page once we approve you. It carries a code that identifies you.
  • When someone follows your link and has accepted cookies on our website banner, we store a cookie in their browser for the period shown on your referral page. If they have not accepted cookies we remember your code only for that visit. If they sign up while the code is remembered, the new account is credited to you. If they follow several referral links, the most recent one counts.
  • Because we only set the cookie with the visitor's consent, a sign-up is not credited to you if the person declined cookies and came back later, or deleted the cookie, or used a different device or browser.
  • A sign-up is credited to you only if the customer creates a new Ad Intel account through your link. We do not credit existing customers, accounts created before the link was followed, or accounts we cannot match to your link.

3. Commission

  • Commission is a percentage of the amount a referred customer actually pays us, excluding VAT, on their first paid invoices. The percentage and the number of invoices that earn commission are shown on your referral page. We may change them for future sign-ups and will not reduce commission already recorded.
  • No commission is earned on free trials, free plans, credit notes, discounts or any amount refunded, charged back or not collected.
  • Commission is recorded when the customer pays and is held for a period shown on your referral page, so that refunds and disputes can be taken into account. After that it becomes payable.
  • If a customer's payment is refunded or disputed, the matching commission is cancelled or reduced. If we have already paid it, you agree to repay it, and we may deduct it from future commission.
  • You are not paid for referring yourself, your own business, your employer or anyone you control, or for accounts created in a way that is not a genuine sign-up.

4. Payment

  • We pay commission that has become payable by bank transfer to the details you give us. We aim to pay within 30 days of it becoming payable, and we record each payment on your referral page. You are responsible for keeping your payment details correct; we are not responsible for a payment sent to details you gave us that were wrong.
  • Amounts are in the currency the customer paid in, or pounds sterling where we say so. They are stated before any tax. You are responsible for any tax you owe on what we pay you, and for telling us if you are VAT-registered and need to give us an invoice.

5. How you may promote Ad Intel

  • Be honest. Do not make claims about Ad Intel that are untrue, misleading or that we have not made ourselves.
  • Say clearly that you earn commission, wherever you share your link, in line with UK advertising and consumer rules.
  • Do not send unsolicited emails, texts or messages, and follow the law on electronic marketing.
  • Do not use our name or brand in paid search advertising, in a domain name or in a social account name that could be mistaken for ours, and do not pretend to be us.
  • Do not offer rewards for signing up that we have not agreed, and do not set cookies or redirect people in a way that hides where a link goes.
  • Do not break any law or the rules of the platform where you share your link.

6. Personal data

Cyber Investments Ltd is the controller of the personal data you give us when you join. We use your name, email address and payment details to run the programme, pay you and keep the records the law requires, as set out in our privacy notice, which also explains your rights. We do not give you the personal data of the people you refer. Your referral page shows only numbers (visits, sign-ups and commission). You must follow data protection law in how you share your link and must not collect personal data about the people you refer on our behalf.

7. Ending

You can stop at any time by telling us. We can suspend or end your membership if you break these terms or we believe the programme is being misused. Commission already earned and payable is still paid, except where it arose from a breach of these terms or fraud. If your membership ends, your link stops crediting new sign-ups.

8. Changes

We may change these terms or the programme. We will tell you by email or on your referral page. Changes do not affect commission already recorded. If you carry on using your link after a change, you accept it.

9. Our responsibility

We do not promise any level of earnings or that the programme will continue. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the commission payable to you at the time. You are not our employee, agent or partner and cannot make promises on our behalf.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.

We use cookies the site needs to work. With your permission we would also use Google Analytics cookies to see how the site is used, and remember a referral link so the person who referred you is credited if you sign up. See the cookie policy.
